The SD-KPInform Database is developed in collaboration with Sustainalytics (a Morningstar company) and provides monthly ESG data coverage for more than 15,000 companies worldwide since 2009.

The database combines Sustainalytics’ underlying ESG data with the sector-specific SD-KPI methodology, resulting in a structured, financially material ESG dataset designed for longitudinal risk analysis, regulatory integration and systematic investment applications.

Due to the documented conceptual overlap between SD-KPI analysis and the SASB industry standards (2016), and the subsequent incorporation of SASB Standards into the ISSB framework of the IFRS Foundation, the SD-KPI dataset facilitates analytical comparability with industry-based components referenced under IFRS S1.

The SD-KPInform Database enables historical analysis across market cycles and supports applications such as risk modelling, portfolio tilting, regulatory ESG integration and index construction.
